CSI students (this message is for Sections 001 through 004),

Your semester grade is calculated as follows. The total number of
points for all assignments that you get is divided by the total
possible number of points, the percentage is derived and the grade is
assigned on the basis of this percentage.

The below calculations are preliminary so treat them as a guideline
rather than specific requirements.

It seems like the total number of points for this semester will be
370: two exams (200 points), 13 labs (130 points), 4 quizzes (30
points - worse score dropped), participation (10 points). Thus, to get
a C for the course you will need to get at least 259 points (259/370 =
70%). To get an A- you will need to get at least 333 points.

Thanks,

Mikhail
