Hello CS-1A students,
As we approach the CS-1A Final Exam on Tuesday, this is one last reminder
about the Supplemental Instruction (S.I.) support for CS-1A.
*The last session for CS-1A will be held Monday (Oct. 11) in the
Mathematical Sciences Building (MSB) room 162, starting at 6:00p.*
Unsurprisingly, we will be focusing entirely on review activities for the
Final Exam the following afternoon.
Our review sessions are always completely free and open for everyone.
Whether it is your fifteenth session or your very first, there is always
something to gain from our structured review activities (especially on the
evening before the final exam).
Because lecture on Tuesday is taken up entirely by the exam, and there is
no lecture on Thursday, *our Tuesday and Wednesday S.I. Sessions this week
will be cancelled*, as there will be no new lecture content for us to
review!
(So, for any usual attendees, take a few days of rest in preparation for
the next half of the semester!)
*S.I. Sessions will resume at the normal time and place on Monday, October
18*, and will continue through the end of the semester,* reviewing CS-1B
lecture content* in the same way as we have reviewed CS-1A content.
For any students who continue on to CS-1B following the final exam, I hope
to see you in sessions for the last half of this semester, if you are
available and interested in reviewing the more complicated aspects of C++
introduced in CS-1B!
As always, if you have any questions, send me an email: jstearn2 at kent.edu
Best wishes on your CS-1A Final Exam!
