CSIA students,

Welcome to the course. The course is in-person. It contains lecture
and lab parts. The lectures are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The lab
depends on your section.  Lecture attendance is highly
recommended. Lab attendance is mandatory. The first lecture is
tomorrow, Thursday, August 25th, in LCM 101 at 12:30pm. I will see you
all there.  Note that the lab for section 002 is on Thursday before
the lecture. Please attend.

This message is coming from the course's mailing list that I have
signed you up to. I am using this mailing list to send email to the
students in the course. Occasionally, the email messages wind up in
spam folders.  To prevent it, you need to the add the mail list sender
in your contacts list. To do that, in gmail (which is your kent state
email), you need to go spam folder, locate one of the messages sent to
the mailing list, then click on "report as not-spam" button. This
moves the message to your inbox. Now locate it in your mailbox and
click on the "more options" button (vertical dots next to reply
button) and select "add to contacts list option".
