CSIA students,
* the final exam will be in-class, during lecture time on Tuesday,
February 28th. The final exam grades are expected to be available and
posted in subversion Wednesday, March 1st. I will send an email when
they are there.
* the last lab is the 5th lab. Lab 5 grades are also expected to be
posted on Wednesday, March 1st.
* there is no lecture on Thursday, March 2nd. During lecture time,
will I hold office hours in my office (MSB 356). We can discuss your
final exam grades then. I also hold office hours during regular
time: 1-3pm on Thursday.
* course grades are expected to be posted on flash line by the end of
Thursday, March 3th. I'll email to the mailing list when I am done
posting.
* there are no labs on Friday, March 3d or Monday March 6th, lab
instructors are not present in the labs.
* CSIB starts on Tuesday, March 7th with a lecture at the usual
location.
* you need to get at least a C in CSIA to be allowed to take CSIB.
- if you already registered for CSIB and you did not get a C in CSIA, you
will be dropped. You are encouraged to enroll in CSIA (repeat)
that is taught in the second part of the course: sections 004 (CRN
18792) and 014 (18793).
- if you have not yet registered for CSIB but got at least a C in
CSIA, you will be allowed to register. The registration process
is not automatic. You have to do it yourself. CSIB is a new course
so section times may not match with CSIA, make sure you enroll
in the section that does not conflict with the rest of you schedule.
Good luck on the CSIA final,
--
Mikhail
