[CSI] welcome to CSI, state of the class so far

CSI Students, summer 2023,

Welcome to the course and to this mailing list. For those students who
missed the first lecture and/or lab. We covered the first two sets of
slides on the course's webpage
(http://antares.cs.kent.edu/~mikhail/classes/csi/): "intro" and "first
program" and started the 3 third set.

In the first lab, the first lab (this one:
http://antares.cs.kent.edu/~mikhail/classes/csi/Labs/Lab1/) was
assigned. It is due on Thursday, Jun 15th by midnight. Besides the
actual assingments, the primary objective should be to set up and test
visual studio/tortoiseSVN at home.

Joseph, the lab instructor, was holding office hours this and every
Monday online.

For those feeling restless, I'll be posting this weeks' lab
assingments soon.
