You give me ideas for good final exam questions: look at a diagram and
recoginze a pattern.

What I said in class and what still stands is that I will not be
explicitly asking to name or explain specific UML constructs but I may
be using UML or ask you to use UML to describe or illustrate a design
pattern.

In general, we use UML to simplify design pattern presentation so
learning UML makes it easier to study patterns.
