OS students:

When emailing me (or anyone else for that matter) directly, treat your
message as a mini-business letter. It should start with a salutation
and end with a closing phrase. If your From: header does not contain
your full name, include it in the body of the message. When emailing
me for the first time, it would be nice to mention that you are in my
OS class.
