Hello Computer Architecture Class:

Today's presentation, "Chapter 4 - Processor (Datapath - Control Hazards
4.8)," is updated. I added another slide (#8) titled "Branch Hazards - 3
stalls to just 1 stall" to explain why adding h/w, hazard control and
forwarding can reduce an erroneous branch not taken from 3 stalls to just
1. Please look at the notes in red for details.

Don't forget that you may need to refresh your browser cache for the
updated version. Use ctrl+shift+R key combination.

Kindest Regards,
Dianne
