Mohammad and DB class,
The project is a valid one but you need to pay attention to
the following. (I am sending the comments to the whole class
because many can take advantage of the ideas).
(1) Make sure your project does not degenerate to something like
a mysql (or phpMyAdmin) interface to your database.
(2) You need to be able to handle multiple items of the same kind.
Looking at your design, you would have a hard time if the store
has a number of copies of the same game.
(3) When you say you allow search for video games, you must provide
in your application interface some menu items so users will know
how to formulate the search. For example, if a user know nothing
about video game brand names, how would the user search for them?
(4) We are look for a project with a complexity level on par with
the "university database" you all have a copy of. When you
show just three tables for your project, that seem like more
a homework than a term project.
Please revise and resubmit your Milestone I.
Paul
