Howdy fellow hackers, 

Hope you all had a great day off school! 

We are excited to announce our first mini hackathon on Saturday, November the 17th. It will run during the day. There will be prizes for the top three teams, and many other giveaways for everyone that competes. We will discuss further on Thursday night.

We will be presenting git and github this week. It should not take that long, which means we get a lot more time to hack and get to work in small groups to build some cool things.
