Hey Hackers,

Hopefully finals are going well!

Check out this information from someone very energetic about getting a project going:

I'd like to create a website that combines social media and networking capabilities called The Hookup.  Essentially the site is designed to bring people together, mainly entrepreneurs looking for a type of person to help them out.  A great example would be this right here.  I would be the entrepreneur looking for a web designer so I would use the site to find one.  The user would create a profile and fill out information such as their name, job, experience...etc.  Then they would be able to search based on a number of qualities of another person like experience, area (based on zip code), expertise in starting, running or ending a business....etc. The site would make money off of advertising and businesses who buy subscriptions.  To create a better environment for both the user and advertiser, I would like the advertisements shown to be based on preferences.  For example, if an entrepreneur interested in starting a t-shirt company makes a profile, their preferences will obviously be t-shirts, printing...etc.  Therefore I want them to have advertisements show up on their profile that would relate to this. They should get printing companies, possibly art supply stores and maybe marketing firms as their advertisements.  I wouldn't want a dirt bike ad to show up for them.  This way the user is more likely to pay attention to ads because they are relevant.  I want to have the option for businesses to buy a monthly subscription to the site.  Buying a subscription will allow them to show up higher in searches (SEO) and possibly be more prevalent on the site.

For this all to be possible, I need a web designer and someone who would run backend development.  I guess you could say I'm looking for a partner.  

I'd really appreciate if you could pass the word around to people you think would be able to help me and see who is interested.
