Fellow bro-grammers and gal-grammers,

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! We know it was kinda a weird week,
but we'll get back on track next week at our normal place and time.

Today we had some big announcements. First of all, HacKSU is hosting a trip
to see American Greetings on Friday September 19th (probably from
9am-11:30am). They'll be giving a tour of their awesome facilities and
conducting interviews for internships. (THEY HAVE A REALLY COOL PROGRAM).

Second, PENNAPPS IS THIS WEEKEND GET PUMPED YEAH YEAH YEAH. We have extra
seats on the bus!! If you want to go (which you do) sign up for the bus

Also, don't forget to sign up for KHE (hacksu.cs.kent.edu/khe2014) if you
haven't already. We are almost out of tickets.
Another hackathon is coming up is OSU's the weekend of October 3rd-5th.

These are amazing opportunities for you guys to learn something new and
work on whatever you want. You can participate and have fun and learn even
if you're a totally beginner noob. These events are for everyone and the
best place and environment to learn and make friends. Plus, Facebook and
Google and Apple and all the cool tech companies will be at PennApps
looking for interns and with prizes and looking to mentor you one on one at
the event. You need to be doing these events to set yourself apart, CS is a
field that moves so fast and you have to immerse yourself to stay on top of
things. Plus we promise more conga lines :)
