Hey Hackers!


We've got some cool stuff to teach you this week.

Wes will be teaching how to create a web app with ReactJS, a JavaScript
library for building dynamic user interfaces. We'll be using the Spotify
API to search for and display musician information. Make sure to have a Text
Editor <https://atom.io/> and Node <https://nodejs.org/en/> installed (for
npm)

If you're newer to programming, no worries. Ben is teaching an intro to
JavaScript. This is a powerful language to learn if you want an interactive
webpage. Not a talk to miss! No programming experience necessary, just
bring a laptop, and make sure you have your text editor ready for this talk.
