This week we'll be talking about programming languages; two of them, in fact! 
Ben will be giving an introduction to JavaScript geared at those who have never programmed before. Make sure you bring a laptop with a text editor built for programming like Atom <http://atom.io/>, Sublime <http://sublimetext.com/3>, Brackets <http://brackets.io/>.

Isaac will be talking about Rust-Lang a programming language which has been designed from the ground up to be safe and fast. It's mostly a competitor for C++, but has syntax which makes it more type safe (no more forgetting a pointer has been freed) and easier to use. For this talk it would be great if you could install Rust <https://www.rust-lang.org/> on your own ahead of time, but don't worry if you don't. We'll try to take some time before the talk to get that installed for everyone.
