The same rules as for CSI exams apply. You will be tested only on the
information that is on the slides. If the slide just has a question
(and no answer) then it is a review question and you not be explicitly
tested on it. The question format is shown in the example exam.
Studying example code is useful as it demonstrates the use of the
material on the slides. Reviewing the labs is extremely useful since
you were given assignments to practice the material we studied in
class. You should focus on labs especially if you got a lot of help
with those and do not remember them well.
I suggest not limiting but expanding the scope of your exam
preparation. The exam is 100 points. This is as much as 10 labs so
doing well on it is every important.
I'll talk more about the exam on Tuesday during the lecture.
Thank you,

> Hello, today I am starting to study for our upcoming midterm, and I was wondering what would be best to study for. I know it is heavily based on writing code so should I focus on my labs or your examples from class? Also, should I study the slides or focus less on those and mainly just study the code? I was just trying to limit my scope to generally what will be on the exam.
