Dear Computer Architecture Class:
A fellow student posed a question in regards to the specification.
In the specifications for project 3, "Prompt the user for the number of
floating point values that the user will enter. You MUST save this number
as in integer or 10 points are deducted from the assignment. Later you will
need to convert it to a float" means that you will use syscall 5 that
reads an integer value placing it into register $v0 (see
https://courses.missouristate.edu/KenVollmar/MARS/Help/SyscallHelp.html for
syscall info). Thus, when you prompt your user with the message "How many
numbers would you like to average?" you will use syscall 5. Once you
calculate the summation of the user entered floating point numbers, you
will need to convert this integer that the user entered to a floating point
number so that you may use it as the divisor in the computing the average.
