[msseminar] presentation, pass/fail next meeting

PhD/MS seminar students,

Those who are taking this course for credit should send me the title,
abstract and preferred dates for the presentations by October 1st.  I
will approve the topic and schedule it.  The presentations should be on
research topics in computer science. That is, they should be based on
research papers in CS.

By now, everyone taking the seminar for pass/fail should have informed
me. If I have not heard from you, I assume you are taking it for
credit.

The nearby schedule is as follows. There is no class on Wednesday,
September 28th, There is a colloquium on Friday, Sep
30-ieth. Attendance is mandatory. There is a seminar on Monday, Oct
3d. I'll continue discussing listening to research presentations and
behaving at conferences.
